【B】
burden: the strategic responsibility on a team or side in a debate

【C】
case (or constructive): a set of reasons, supporting facts, and
 arguments that shows why we should affirm or negate the resolution.
cross-examination (or cx): an opportunity for one debater to ask
 the other questions. They can be about anything, but they should be re-
 levant and designed to get admissions or concessions from the other.

【E】
evidence: Information used to support a claim. Some types of
 evidence are: 1) Testimonial = evidence from an expert or other external
 source not including the debater, such as author, researcher, witness,
 etc., 2) Statistics = measurements, numbers and percentages, 3) Personal
 or anecdotal = first-hand experiences or observations from the debater.

fallacy: a statement or an argument based on a false or invalid inference

heckling: shouting to interrupt a speech with which you disagree

【R】
rebuttal: a statement showing or saying that something is not true
refutation: the speech act of answering an attack on your assertions
resolution: the topic being debated

【S】
(the) status quo: the present situation or the way things usually are

【W】
Wing judge: a person who assists the chair judge in adjudicating the debate|※adjudicate [ədʒúdikèit]「(vt.で) 判決を下す」。
