Fill in the blanks.
For a business enterprise, all the relevant financial information,
presented in a structured manner and in a form easy to under-
stand, are called the financial statements. They typically include
four basic financial statements:
１．( 1 )( 2 ), also referred to as statement of financial position or
condition, reports on a company’s (3. a****s), (4. l*********s),
and (5. e****y) at a given point in time.
２．( 6 )( 7 ), also referred to as ( 8 ) and ( 9 ) statement (or a “P&L”),

of time. P&L account provides information on the operation of the

during the processing state.
３．Statement of ( 12 )( 13 ) explains the changes in a company’s ( 12 )

４．Statement of ( 14 )( 15 )s reports on a company’s ( 14 )( 15 )activities,

【解説】
Financial Statementsは「財務諸表、（一般的に）決算書」
です。Balance Sheet（貸借対照表）とIncome Statement
（損益計算書）、Retained Earnings（利益剰余金、留保利益）、
そしてCash Flows（キャッシュフロー計算書［現金収支一覧
表］）の４つからなります。
貸借対照表は現在、貸し方にあった「資本」が「資本」という
括りだけでは説明がつかなくなったため、資産＝負債＋純資産
と「資本」が「純資産」に記述変更されています。ということ
で、資産（asset）＝負債（liability）＋純資産（equity）とい
う等式になります。
incurは「（費用を）負担する」と言う意味で、incur expenses
で「経費を計上する」です。
