Hi there, this is Frank.
Back when I was in the lower grades of elementary school, I was totally hooked on HO gauge model trains.
I didn’t have much money to buy lots of tracks, so I just managed to make a simple circle with the rails I had — and that alone was a big achievement.
All I could afford was one locomotive, two freight cars, and the cheapest controller available.
There was this family in my neighborhood — the Y family — who were really well-off. They had the full HO gauge setup. Man, was I jealous… ( ；∀；)
But you know what? Saving up little by little and buying each piece over time was actually a lot of fun.
I believe it’s exactly those tough and frustrating experiences that helped shape the person I am today.
