The other day, I watched a great video on YouTube summarizing Michael Bloomberg’s “Rules for Success.” I thought, “I need to jot these down before they slip away,” so here they are — quickly noted but worth saving.
Michael Bloomberg’s Top 10 Rules for Success
- Don’t jump too quickly. (Keep your feet on the ground.)
- Share the credit. (Don’t hog the spotlight — give credit where it’s due.)
- Delegate. (Trust others and let go.)
- Work hard. (Put in the effort — no shortcuts.)
- Question everything. (Curiosity drives clarity and growth.)
- Focus on people. (People first — always.)
- Be honest with yourself. (Self-awareness is key.)
- Be prepared. (Winging it is not a strategy.)
- Don’t look over your shoulder. (Keep moving forward.)
- Collaborate. (Success is a team sport.)
Rule #9 really hit me. Maybe it resonates with you too — the idea of not second-guessing, not dwelling on the past, and just moving forward. That’s a powerful mindset shift.
