Today, I have a rare question about the stock market.

【Question】
Stock prices have plunged on Monday, April 7, 2025. Is it actually possible for people to make money from stocks in such a crash?

【Answer】
If you get anxious just because of a market crash, it might be better to stop trading stocks altogether. After all, stocks are things that go up—and down.

I’ve traded forex (FX) for about two years. Although I lost money a few times at first, that learning period paid off: after that, I was able to earn profits on over 90% of my trades without having to cut my losses. In this game, mental stability and having sufficient capital are what really matter.

In fact, I anticipated this recent drop in stock prices and placed limit orders that were executed when the market fell. Personally, I don’t pay much attention to fundamentals; to be honest, I mostly trade based on my intuition for the market (though I don’t necessarily recommend this approach).

It’s the same with philosophy. Once you build an unshakeable self, you start to see the truth.

FX trading should only be done with surplus funds. If you risk money you can’t afford to lose, things can go very wrong. Using too much leverage can also lead to significant losses, so please trade carefully. The method I mentioned above—profiting without cutting losses—is not something I recommend to everyone. There are times when cutting losses is necessary, so please trade at your own risk.
