Hello, this is Frank.

I believe it was around this time nine years ago when I had my Toshiba washing machine repaired after a recall.

The model was AW70VJ(W). After the recall notice, I kept it in a corner of the kitchen, making sure there was enough space on all sides for the technician to work easily.

Once the technician arrived, the replacement took only about 30 minutes. I still remember how he worked up a sweat, diligently performing the repair.

Before leaving, he apologized once again, saying, “We’re sorry for the inconvenience,” and then headed off to his next appointment.

It’s dedicated people like him who uphold the trust in a brand. That’s why when transparency and accountability are lacking at the management level, it ultimately betrays those who are doing their best on the ground — and can easily lead to a company’s downfall.

Every company has hardworking employees. It’s up to leadership to turn a crisis into an opportunity.

I sincerely hope Toshiba continues to grow and thrive in the future.

By the way, I used to love my Toshiba laptop — the dynabook T554/45KB5D — until the keyboard stopped functioning. I eventually switched to HP. I care a lot about design and durability, so I’m looking forward to seeing great new products from Toshiba once again.
