Depending on the day, my work hours typically start in the morning or early afternoon and conclude by 5:00 PM. My availability ranges from 30% to 50%. After an initial Zoom meeting, I will determine whether to accept the project.

Managed end-to-end tasks, from selecting overseas business partners to preparing for and exhibiting at international trade shows, including negotiations with visitors leading to contracts. Also handled procurement negotiations with domestic vendors. The success fee is calculated based on mutually agreed percentages, with the basis being export shipment volume or domestic sales volume for imports. Approx. 30% workload.

2. Negotiations with Overseas Lawyers: ¥800,000/month + Success Fee + Additional Charges
Conducted direct negotiations with local attorneys to resolve issues related to foreign direct investment. Delivered complete solutions including client presentations and preparation of English-language financial statements. Workload ranged from 30% to 100%. Success fee paid separately upon project completion.

3. Import Negotiations for Primary Products: ¥100,000 / 2.5 Hours
Included 30 minutes of small talk followed by a two-hour negotiation session, successfully securing favorable contract terms. Fee may vary depending on time spent preparing materials. Workload varies based on whether the engagement is one-time or long-term (30% to 100%).

4. Development of Quality Assurance Manual (QAM) for a Major Electronics Manufacturer: ¥1,500,000
Translated several hundred pages of documentation into English. Final delivery included both hardcopy and electronic files, edited and proofread in collaboration with a U.S.-based consulting firm.

5. Translation of Video Game Scripts
Translated game dialogue into English, Spanish, and Portuguese. During peak periods, the compensation ranged from ¥500,000 to ¥1,000,000. Conducted post-translation checks for alignment with actual visuals. Delivered in digital format.

6. English Scriptwriting for a Press Conference
Drafted scripts for a press conference to mark the Japan launch of a famous fashion brand. Fee varied based on word count. Minimum order: ¥100,000.

7. English Training for Engineers Attending International Trade Shows
Conducted role-play based training sessions to help engineers explain industrial machinery in English and handle Q&A. Challenged participants with difficult questions to improve flexibility and responsiveness. Compensation ranged from ¥80,000 to ¥200,000 per half-day or full-day, depending on duration and number of participants.

8. English Technical Document Writing for PCB Manufacturer
Prepared English specification sheets, user manuals, and managed overseas correspondence. Project-based pricing with cash settlement within two weeks of delivery.

9. English Announcements for a Technical Visit at a Japanese Aquarium
Composed English announcements for a last-minute technical visit from overseas to a Kansai aquarium. Due to the urgency and overnight work, a special fee was applied.

10. Abstract Writing for Patent Documents
Created bilingual (Japanese-English) abstracts for use by those unfamiliar with patent terminology or foreign languages. Delivered on time to the patent law firm.

11. English Sales Manual for Overseas Distributors
Created detailed English manuals outlining product features and sales pitches to support OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) business expansion.

12. Hosting Lectures and Panel Discussions
Delivered keynote speeches on the theme of “How to Leverage Language Skills,” followed by panel discussions with a bilingual American (fluent in French and Japanese) and a Japanese simultaneous interpreter. A professional airline cabin crew member served as the moderator.

Conducted a stock trading simulation using the board game “Maxi Bourse” in English. University students and working professionals engaged actively, with the workshop often running over time due to high participant engagement.

14. Online Job Interviews with Candidates on Behalf of Clients
Conducted interviews with job applicants in English to evaluate communication and interpersonal skills. Provided feedback to assess suitability as immediate contributors. Fee varies based on number of candidates and interview time.

Graduated from the Faculty of Economics, Kobe University of Commerce (now part of University of Hyogo). After working at a general trading company, I became an independent international business consultant.

I have extensive experience in global business, including long-term assignments and consulting in North America, Central and South America, Oceania, Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa. My experience includes delivering speeches at international conferences such as the International Conference on Microelectronics and Systems, serving as a Technical Advisor for Surface Mount Technology in Silicon Valley (U.S. and Hsinchu County, Taiwan), resolving international legal disputes involving U.S. direct investment, working as a leather goods trade advisor, and negotiating in the lumber import industry.

While actively engaged in business consulting, I have earned ten distinguished English-language certifications, including: UN Association Test of English (UNATE) Special Grade A, Business English Standard Test (BEST) Grade A, Volunteer Interpreter Certification (Grade A), perfect score on the Nursing English Proficiency Test (TOPEC), Level 1 certifications in the Japan Chamber of Commerce Business English Test, the Tourism English Proficiency Test, and the All Japan Commercial English Test, as well as Level 1 of the Vocabulary Proficiency Test and the EIKEN Test in Practical English Proficiency. I also hold Japan’s national license for Certified Interpreter Guides.

Since launching my e-learning programs, in combination with Skype-based lessons, I have successfully helped 72 students pass the EIKEN Grade 1 exam, 47 pass the national Interpreter Guide Examination, 6 achieve a perfect 990 score on the TOEIC®, and many others attain advanced English qualifications.

My flagship course, [Masterclass in Practical English], has earned recognition as a “gateway to becoming a professional English instructor.” The class has welcomed professional English teachers, university professors and lecturers, as well as cram school instructors. Over 20 top-tier conversation instructors have emerged from this program.

In 2008, my short romantic novel “Can’t Let You Go” won the Grand Prize in the Publishing Gateway Contest hosted by goodbook Publishing, making my commercial debut in January 2009. In May 2012, I released the full-length socially conscious mystery novel “The Crimson Rouge” through the same publisher. Today, a total of 14 titles (both paperback and Kindle editions) are available on Amazon to critical acclaim.

My personal passion is motorcycle touring. Riding a Suzuki GSX-1300R Hayabusa, a true mega-tourer, I journey solo along the coastlines of Japan, enjoying the freedom and solitude of the open road.

To identify and analyze issues on the client’s side, I begin by observing a 30- to 60-minute remote or teleconference session. Based on my observations, I provide detailed feedback.

Evaluation includes elements such as corporate culture, employee morale, and communication skills in both Japanese and English. A comprehensive report is delivered in PDF format (approx. 2–3 A4 pages).

The introductory consultation—including up to 2 hours of teleconference observation and feedback—is offered at a flat rate of ¥50,000 (tax included). This serves as the first step in building a strong trust-based relationship with clients.

• boil the ocean — attempting something overly ambitious or unrealistic. Example: “Don’t boil the ocean to figure out the precise number.”
• BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) — Fundamental redesign of business processes to improve efficiency.
• ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) — Integrated management of core business processes using software and technology.
• MECE (Mutually Exclusive and Collectively Exhaustive) — A framework ensuring no overlaps or gaps in analysis.
• mindfulness — A state of purposeful awareness of the present moment, without judgment. Often a mindset for handling tasks calmly and efficiently.
