Hello, this is Frank.

When I hear the word “business trip,” one brand instantly comes to mind: Samsonite.

Just seeing that iconic suitcase reminds me of my time jetting around the globe on overseas assignments.

With Samsonite, the world’s leading luggage brand, I traveled far and wide—literally and figuratively carrying the weight of the job.

Because it could hold *so much*, I often heard, “Yoshida, take this too,” and ended up stuffing it to the brim. At one point, I had to haul two Samsonite suitcases and two big cartons full of samples—no way one person could carry it all. And yet, off I flew to Latin America.

Looking back now, it’s a fond memory. At the time, though? It was rough going.
