The Tokyo gubernatorial election has just concluded, and things
are settling down.
My impression of this election is that it was “Rich in rhetoric,
but poor in substance.” Except for a few candidates, most didn’t
present solid policies.
When I saw the names of the top three vote-getters, I was surprised,
thinking, “Really? People voted for them?”
I supported an AI engineer who put up a strong fight. I hope young
leaders in their 30s, like this candidate, will drive the future of
Tokyo and Japan.
