Hello, this is <Frank>.
I know quite a few people who work as trading company professionals. While the politically correct term might be “trading person,” for simplicity, I’ll stick with “trading man” here.
So what sets an exceptional trading man apart? As the title suggests, it’s all in the eyes. Not blue or brown eyes, but sharp, predator-like eyes—the kind that constantly search for opportunities. These are the eyes of a professional, trained to assess, adapt, and strike when the timing is right.
When I worked in the trading industry myself, especially in developing countries like those in Latin America or Africa, I naturally developed that kind of gaze. Perhaps not out of choice, but because the environment demanded it.
While Japan may never implement conscription, I believe it would benefit young people to spend at least two years after university flying across borders—earning their stripes as global business warriors.
As the saying goes, “The eyes speak louder than words.” With that in mind, I want to share a book about one such man—a bold adventurer whose career burned with intensity. If this kind of life sparks your interest, check it out:
