Hello, this is Frank.
New Zealand has become synonymous with detox and wellness in recent years. To me, the word that best describes this country is “serene.”
Back in my days as a trading company employee, I vividly remember a moment on a flight, just minutes before landing in Auckland. The New Zealander sitting next to me turned and said with a beaming smile, “We’ll be arriving soon!” The pure joy in his eyes left a lasting impression on me.
I’m also reminded of a New Zealand woman who once took my Spanish class. Although my Kansai-style Spanish jokes didn’t quite land with her, she would always smile and ask, “¿Broma?” (“Is that a joke?”).
These encounters have shaped my impression of New Zealand-a country that seems tailor-made for those seeking to unwind, relax, and simply take it slow.
One unique aspect of New Zealand is that its seasons are the complete opposite of Japan’s. If you’re considering a trip, I highly recommend traveling solo. It’s the best way to fully immerse yourself in the country’s peaceful atmosphere.

And let’s not forget about Manuka honey, one of New Zealand’s most famous health foods. Its antibacterial properties are so trusted that you’ll find it stocked in local pharmacies, supporting the health of New Zealanders every day.
If you’re looking for a place to relax, recharge, and experience genuine hospitality, New Zealand is the destination for you. Give Manuka honey a try while you’re there-you won’t regret it.
