Hi there!
I am not acrophobic as long as I am on an airplane; however, “Yes, I am” once I’ve stepped out of a box at a high altitude.
I had been hospitalized in my first high school grade, and my homeroom teacher kindly visited my hospital to see me with a bouquet of flowers. He was an English teacher and gave me a book entitled, if I remember correctly, “Bertrand Russell – Autobiography.”
――You understand what Mr. Russell is saying sometime in the future.
I was delighted to receive the gift from the teacher; however, I would dare say one centimeter-long nose hair sticking out of the teacher is still fresh in my memory.
I looked him down, opening the window from my fifth-floor precinct. He was about to get into his car in the hospital parking lot.
――Nagasawa-sensei!
He waved me back with hesitation. He was one of my favorite teachers in my high school days.
